Appalachian Sunrise

The views are incredible and the house is very clean with comfy beds. If you are visiting in the winter, I would recommend a 4 wheel drive, but we loved our time here, especially the hot tub!

This cabin has everything you need. Amazing view, peace and quiet, clean and modern, tons of space and great amenities. It is well kept. The company that manages it is very responsive. We needed a new regulator for the grill and they came out the same day with a new one and installed it immediately. You are about 25-35 minutes away from a few small towns if you want to shop, eat or get supplies, etc. I highly recommend staying here unless it’s the dates I want to come back. and leave those open for me! Also, if you take about 5-10 minute hike up the rest of the road to the top of the mountain there is an old civil war grave there which was cool to see. Enjoy!

I booked this cabin fir a girls getaway “Friendsgiving dinner” for Thanksgiving. It was perfect for our party of 4! My friends flew from Baltimore, Md to experience Blue Ridge for the first time and it was a first time for me as well-The views were STUNNINGi n this cabin!!To wake u and see the mountains was breathtaking and relaxing-I’m a photographer and this location was a DREAM for those who love photo ops, (Hidden by Airbnb) and professional photo shoots. Our Friendsgiving was not only a huge success but it was relaxing and beautiful. We felt spoiled in this cabin!Perks: We all loved that the cabin smelled fresh, clean and well sanitized. We appreciate how clean and organized the cabin was. The cabin is only 290 minutes from The Blue Ridge Train tour and we really enjoyed the 4 hour round trip train ride to TN-it’s a great attraction for everyone!

The house was perfect for 3 couples. We each had our own bedroom and bath. The house is at the top of the mountain so the view is beautiful. It’s about a 15 minute drive to Blue Ridge.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The views were absolutely breathtaking and it was the perfect spot for our family (we have young kids). It’s not too far of a drive to Blue Ridge so we did that during the day and cooked at night. We had a few things we needed to ask bout during our stay and everything was quickly taken care of. We will reminisce about our memories here for years to come!

Absolutely beautiful location! Very clean (coming from a germaphobe!) Fully stocked kitchen utensils/pots and pans. Hot tub is emptied between guests for cleanliness. Great WI-FI. Would absolutely return!

My family had a perfect first family vacation in Blue Ridge with our 11 month old daughter! The view of the mountain peaks from the porch is truly breathtaking! We enjoyed grilling out and relaxing in the hot tub after our hikes & adventures each day!

It was amazing and beautiful. The views were enchanting and the cabin even more so. Everything was very clean, the hot tub was amazing. The rad was a bit rough but once you get the hang of it it was easy peasy. Thank you so much for having us!! Will definitely be coming back!!

House is huge, but the best part is definitely the back porch/deck. Also, the kitchen has everything you need and more to cook and BBQ. Our kids were so happy using the jacuzzi tub. Overall excellent experience. I highly recommend!

You can expect a beautiful house and even better views. The house has everything you would want, even walking sticks for hiking. We had a great vacation!

This place is amazing! Very clean, easy check in/out, great communication from host! The road to the house was a bit scary for this Florida girl but it was absolutely worth it!!!

We were overwhelmed at the size of the cabin and the glorious sunrise we saw each morning. I was especially a fan of the pool table inside and the hot tub outside.

We chose a winner here folks. Had a choice between a few other cabins and chose this one because of the view it offered and it did not disappoint. Every aspect was pretty great (except for a dishwasher that leaked). Comfortable beds, furniture and great fireplaces make the place feel like home. Located in a spot where you are only 25-45 minutes away from most activities you would want to do. Highly recommended.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. I’s so glad we were able to stay in Appalachian Sunrise. The cabin was gorgeous and the perfect size for our 3 couples. We all had our private areas and the common areas were spacious enough for us all to be together. Recommend arriving before dark, the road is quite curvy and narrow to the cabin!

I had. family vacation, wife and 2 kids stayed at this cabin. We found the experience very enjoyable. The cabin was clean and had everything one needed to cook. The pool table was a welcomed amenity as the family played many games of pool when we got rained out one afternoon. The view from the back porch was spectacular and was like a picture that was always changing from sunrise to sunset. I would highly recommend staying if you are interested in visiting the Blue Ridge area.

The cabin was fantastic. Every time I looked out the massive windows at the view, I could only say WOW. I have stayed in the mountains many times and have rented cabins over the past 15 years and hands down, this is the best view we’ve experienced. The kitchen was a bit short of storage space and had limited cookware but we made it work. The family room and bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable. We used the hot tub every day after our hikes, then played pool which was great fun. There are hikes as close as 15 minutes away and it was only 30 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. Within an hour ride you can get to Ellijay, Amicalola Falls, Dahlonega and so much more.

Amazing views! Very quiet with some really pleasant bird song. Very peaceful. The ride up to the house is a bit rough and has gravel spots so not suitable for motorcycles but if you have a truck, possibly a car its not much of an issue. Close to Blue Ridge and definitely check out Merciers its real close. The views from the house and porch are very beautiful. . Check in was a breeze. The host was great, she even brought us up a new propane tank when ours ran out. We had a very pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable , and we loved our time here. The views are beautifukland it was an easy drive into town.

We were nervous driving up the dirt road to the top of the mountain. But once we got there and saw the beautiful view and the giant cabin space we were in heaven. The cabin is great for entertaining and relaxing with friends and family. Holly was great at picking out a cabin to give us the best experience. We will be back.

My family and I have been vacationing in Blue Ridge for over 10 years and Holly and her staff have never disappointed us. We spent 7 beautiful days over Thanksgiving break at Appalachian Sunrise and we had the best time ever. the cabin is awesome and the views are to die for. My family and I can’t wait for our next trip.

Place was very clean, everything in working condition , space was cozy yet roomy. We have rented from A Blue Ridge Vacation for several years and have always been happy with their cabins. Only thing I would recommend would be a few more cooking items and possible seasonings.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! the cabin exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful cabin and the view was absolutely stunning! We bought groceries, cooked the majority of our meal and were really impressed with how well stocked it was! Everything we needed to prepare our meals was provided. We were also very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin! The road going up to the cabin is steep but wasn’t a problem for us. Our teenage children had a great time too! The pool table was a big hit with the adults and the kids too1. i am already looking at the calendar to see when we can get back up there for another stay.

This cabin has one of the best long views from any cabin we have stayed in Blue Ridge. A gorgeous cabin with a great deck for rocking chairs and grilling. Plenty of places to unwind inside too. The folks at a Blue Ridge Vacation made our stay perfect. Super friendly. Super attentive. Highly recommended.
